Looking forward to this release from No Kids! Judy at the Grove is a 4-song 12” EP and will be out 5/25 via Tomlab. You can hear two of the songs on their Myspace player thingie.
cool!

You need to be careful when googling how to book a masseuse for a day. I’m looking up gifts for administrative assistant day for our office, but I am thinking they don’t want lady escorts.
Didn’t even have to use my AK.
What the fuck kind of cutesie cookie is this shit. I WANT A FORTUNE.
I have loved the work of Trevor Kampmann since about the fourth note of “Face Against Your Thigh,” the track that opens hollAnd’s 1997 album Your Orgasm. On first listen, his new album I Blow Up continues his streak of splendidness. (Splendor? Anyway.) I already have one of the songs (“Sauvignon Blank,” which has a definite Flin Flon feel to it) stuck in my head!
This is absolutely making my Sunday afternoon. Thanks!
The empirical facts about a good sunday morning
-woke up slow as the sun came in my window
-short walk with the dog in the brisk spring air
-Hot, slow shower
-Coffee and a fruit danish in window seat of local coffee shop where they are playing Strawberry Jam at a very reasonable volume (the bees, the bees, the bee-ee-eees).
-finished my weekend work in a third of the time I had slotted in.
All this before 10am!
The head of the “Go Green” group for the university I work for, a group that does events for earth day and etc, is named GENE SUNSHINE. If I had to be someone other than this classic mcconnell that I am, I would want to be an academic hippie named Gene god damned Sunshine. Holy hell is that perfect.
