shortformblog: According to Robert Costa, Team Romney is formally vetting Ryan, and the Wisconsin Republican has already submitted the requisite paperwork to the campaign for consideration as Romney’s running mate. Ryan, who seemed to give some light consideration to a run at the presidency this year before ultimately deciding to stay in the House, is a dream choice in the eyes of...

digitalsocrates asked: I think an important distinction you have to make when you are trying to make devil's advocate arguments (especially in cases of oppression) is to not imply guilt on the victim's part. You can criticize Brown for making some debatably inappropriate comments, but make the argument separate from the Speaker's actions. Don't imply that her comments made banning her (or Barb Byrum)...

– I understand anger and frustration, especially in Michigan’s especially egregious congressional hearings which have been proven to be largely a farce since the republicans have taken over. I get why any democrat in that situation would be furious. I am also furious that goverment can function...

ok so this Michigan Vagina thing.
I am very much against the idea that this woman couldn’t say the word vagina, and I absolutely think that this is just a way for the republican representatives to silence a democrat. I would bet a clean hundo it is just an excuse for them to jump on. but also The comment she made did actually lack some decorum. Not because she said Vagina, but because she made a comment about her...

Oh ALSO
Last week I finally started reading Game of Thrones I generally wait for a series to finish before I start into it, because I have PROBLEMS with waiting. I waited until Harry Potter was complete before starting in. I watched all of Evangelion (with movies) in one Massive sitting.  So I am titlated with the reading and mad at myself for not holding out. It is a complex feeling, much like that...
